It's simple, really. I fill my tanks with conventional avgas, a hydrocarbon fuel.
Add a few drops of the catalytic enzyme, treehuggin AlGorase, and the avgas
is cleaved into hydrogen and carbon. Simply sump the powdered carbon black
from the fuel drain (wear a mask, it's dusty) and you're good to go. Some claim
that if you let the perssure build sufficiently in the tanks, you can drain
off the carbon as graphite or even a fine grit of industrial grade diamonds,
but I don't think you can believe everything you read on the internet (or even
on the RVSoutheast List). Anyway, my wing tanks aren't built to take that kind
of pressure, so I'm not going to try for the diamond thing. It's bad enough
the way the plane tries to float around inside the hangar when the hydrogen
liberation process is complete; be sure to tie down securely before attempting
this. We don't want any repeats of the Hindenburg incident.

I want some of that. I hear you can get it right from water and breathe the

Danville is having a big airshow this weekend. Some great performers =
and
statics. Flyins are welcome!
The airport is closed for a few hours at 2 separate times Sat and =
Sunday, so
check notams.
The Palmetto Flight will be featured as well. Should be a great time.

Oh, thank goodness...Dennis is in Montgomery, AL until June 23, and we'd=

there? He and Maggie flew down to Montgomery (she's staying with friends=
