--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: sportav8r@aol.com Most excellent, gentlemen! River levels are not encouraging, but we can always go anyway and just walk the shallows/drag our butts alot. Even when low, there are several nice deep stretches along the route. We may get rain today. -Stormy -----Original Message----- Sent: Mon, 19 Jun 2006 06:04:12 -0400 --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Dale Ensing" <densing@carolina.rr.com> Monsieur Stormy Please add Bill Repucci and Dale Ensing to your attendance list for Saturday. --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: sportav8r@aol.com Tad- the Cowpasture is a pristine river, but a rather warm one. We have bass, bluegill, catfish and muskie (ugh), but no trout that I know of. There's good trout fishing around herewithin driving distance, but in the colder lakes and streams (actively stocked). You're welcome to bring a rod and some spinning tackle or flies. Odds of seeing a game warden are near-zero, but there is that license thing... -Stormy -----Original Message----- Sent: Mon, 19 Jun 2006 21:45:00 -0400 --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "tadsargent" <tadsargent@bellsouth.net> Stormy, I enjoy catching and releasing Trout are there any within walking distance. Len, I setup an Excel spread sheet to log my time. It's is fairly elaborate and can be customized further. If you want the template, I can email it to you. It may take some explanation of the features, there is no POH for it.
