We tubed the river yesterday and found the recent storms and flooding hadn't changed much, except to clean out a lot of debris. The level should be nice for a trip in a few days; when it's as deep as yesterday, the rapids are covered so deep they're actually less fun than usual. Meanwhile, I discovered that many of our tubes from last year are very holey, and I used all the tire patch kits I had trying to salvage them. More work to do there tonight. I may still ask that those of you who have tubes bring them for yourselves. Cappy hit mandatory airline retirement LAST year. You do the math. With all this bitchin' and maonin' about being old, I might just set out a bowl of Ben Gay instead of sour cream dip with the chips... -Stormy -----Original Message----- Sent: Mon, 3 Jul 2006 16:45:36 -0400 You can't be 49! ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Monday, July 03, 2006 4:21 PM If push comes to shove, you can have mine, Cappy.
