Doc, Knowing you want to play fighter pilot (again) from time to time, the RV-10 and it's back seat won't work for you. Some of the two place RV's, mostly -6,7, & 9's have been modified by extending the upper portion of the baggage compartment to accept a golf bag. However, knowing the tendency of the 7's to be tail heavy, I doubt I would want to stick even a light bag that far aft. I don't know about the W&B of the -6's. For your purposes, the -9 is out as it is not acro capable. Most sellers will mention the mod as a selling point. As for putting a bag in a standard baggage compartment, I haven't tried to fit my clubs in there but doubt they would fit. However, if flying alone, it is easy enough to remove the right stick (usually they just pull out) and right seat back, thus giving you enough room to bring your clubs along. Your golfing partner will have to walk though. Have you found any RV's you are interested in? Anyone seen the 496, yet? I wonder if it's a higher resolution screen than the 396. Can't wait to hear about all the new stuff from the guys that went to OSH! Wayne
