I got a call from the FAA the other day. Before I could voice my
alibi, he
told me it was regarding the Wings Weekend on November 4th at
Goldsboro, NC.
He's looking for a couple volunteers to do presentation on the RV's
and what
it takes to build and fly them. Sort of like the presentation Len and
I did
for the Winston-Salem airport group a couple months ago. I told him I
would
ask the group if anyone was available/interested. It would be a 40-50
minute presentation in a classroom type environment. Maybe a
slideshow,
questions from the attendees, etc. I'm thinking 3-4 people who are
well
into their kit or flying would be good.
Who would be willing to participate?

Hey, maybe I better call Tad and get on his painting to do list. I need it
more than you guys.

Dennis says he'll do it as well. Might be cool to see "how to" build and
fly when the USAF is moving you around every 3 years. He's got experien
ce in moving pieces cross country in the middle of a build. Oh, and he s
ays he's already supposed to be part of the static display.

Radomir came over last night to help rivet on the 774 top skin after he
and Tad finished paint his interior. After all the pain and suffering
he went through he and Tad went through earlier in the day he is trying
to convince me to paint over the beautiful SEM primer gray that I have
for my interior.
The nerve of that guy!
Ok, I might cave to the pressure. Tad, when can you squirt my interior?
I guess the more important question is, is all the work worth it? Here
is a picture of my interior:

Should I paint over the primer or not?
Thanks for the help.

Yes. Have been a TC for about eight years (since the program was introduced)

Bill,
Consider how much of that interior you will be covering with upholstery. You have
so much equipment already installed that repainting will be a real chore.
Maybe you just want to spot those areas that upholstery will not cover.

Looks real nice. I would paint it -- you'll get more durability out of a
top-coat.
Throttle quad looks nice.

Subject: | New Incoming Message Size Limit Implemented... |
--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: Matt Dralle <dralle@matronics.com>
Dear Listers,
Due to a number of requests to limit the size of incoming posts to the Lists because
of the recently added enclosure feature, I have add a new filter that will
limit the total size of any given message posted to the List. I have initially
set the limit to 2MB
and we'll see how everyone likes that.
If a member attempts to post a message that is greater than the set limit, they
will receive an email back indicating that their message wasn't posted to the
List and why. Also included in the message will be the current size limit and
how large their message
was.
Some might say that 2MB is still too large, but its a place to start...
Best regards,
Matt Dralle

Can I stop getting every one of the RV southeast emails sent to me and just
get a summary once a week or something?

You should unsubscribe from the Realtime version of the List and subcribe to the
