Bikes were okay, not great, IIRC. Not sure they will leave bikes at the airpor for you, though. It's a long walk carrying your full kit if they don't... maybe 1.5 miles? Those of us at the Crew's Inn don't get complimentary bikes. For the hotels it may be different. Let us know what you find out. I might change my plans of a better deal appears. _Stormy On 8/18/06, tadsargent wrote: > --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "tadsargent" > > All travelers to Ocracoke "The Slushie Stand" rents bikes at $25.00 per bike > for 4 days. We should ask Alden if he'll do that for us. Then we can shave 15 bucks each off the bike rentals if the Slushee stand has enuf. Translation: Len, call Alden and talk him into rides to/from the airport on Friday/Monday as we're not into all that bike riding stuff. Be nice to me and I'll carry Donna in my basket; I know she likes that :-) -Stormy On 8/18/06, tadsargent wrote: > > > Len, will your inkeeper not come to pick you up, our deluxe accomodations > allow for this. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Lenleg@aol.com > To: rvsoutheast-list@matronics.com > > Sent: Friday, August 18, 2006 2:06 PM > Subject: Re: RVSouthEast-List: bike rental > > > I just tried Slushie and they will not deliver to the airport. > > Len > > > In a message dated 8/18/2006 10:58:26 A.M.
