Well Cappy, Randy and Tad made it to FQD for lunch. WX was not as bad as
they were saying, in fact the sun even came out for our departure to
Shiflit. Gas was really 3.24 but we had to pay cash. All in all a good
time.

I was a little late departing, and turned back around Statesville as it was
getting dark. I thought MTV might be plan B, but that didn't work out
either. The 'mater sandwich back at the house hit the spot!

I've mostly been a lurker here, but I finally got my new RV-10, N585MR,
airborne yesterday and will hopefully become an active member if you are
open to another. I'm based out of Valdosta, GA until next March so
hopefully I'll get my 40 hours done as soon as possible and puts some faces
to the names.

Stormy/ Len:
Cindy and I will not be there until Saturday AM. Richard has a home football
game Friday night. Is that a problem with the bikes, or anything else?

I've rented from the Slushee Stand before. Bikes were okay, not
great, IIRC. Not sure they will leave bikes at the airpor for you,
though. It's a long walk carrying your full kit if they don't...
maybe 1.5 miles?
Those of us at the Crew's Inn don't get complimentary bikes. For the
hotels it may be different.
Let us know what you find out. I might change my plans of a better
deal appears.
