--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Bill Boyd" <sportav8r@gmail.com> I'll be honest - I hadn't thought about that, but it would work. Wouldn't be quite the getaway for me as for everyone else, but the company would be great. The Labor Day forecast up this way was never a problem. Looks like Ernesto is giving the forecasters fits trying to predict its path, but this morning's forecast is more to my liking for the Outer Banks compared to last night's. Let's just wait and see. -Stormy On 8/28/06, Larry Bowen <Larry@bowenaero.com> wrote: > --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Larry Bowen" <Larry@BowenAero.com> > > Plan B is the Hop-a-long Lodge? > > -- > Larry Bowen > Larry@BowenAero.com > http://BowenAero.com > > Bill Boyd wrote: > > --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Bill Boyd" <sportav8r@gmail.com> > > > > I just got word that a new guy might be joining us at the beach for the > > weekend. > > > > Name's Ernesto. > > > > He said to pack an umbrella and strong tie-downs. Subject: Plan B
--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Steve Glasgow" <willfly@carolina.rr.com> Reno has been working hard to arrange a Plan B at Ashe Co. and all seems OK there. I say we wait till Wednesday to make a decision as to shifting to Plan B. Two days ago the forecast was for Earnesto to hit New Orleans now it is forecast to be off shore around Ocracoke on Friday. In two more day it may be out to sea altogether. Wednesday should be enough time to cancel arrangements in Ocracoke without making enemies. More later. Reno's plan B will be a great one if required. --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: <ronschreck@windstream.net> Bill, If we go to the mountains sign us up for the Creeper Trail bike ride. Kathy and I have done the ride four times in past years and it's a great ride. You start at the top of White Mountain and bike 17 miles (all flat or downhill) on the old railroad bed. Got to stop at the ice cream shoppe in Damaskus at the end of the ride. They supply the bikes and van ride to the top of the hill. A great way to spend an afternoon. Appreciate all you've done to secure plan B. Either way, this weekend is going to rock and we are in! -Stormy On 8/28/06, bill crothers <bill28104@yahoo.com> wrote: > --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: bill crothers <bill28104@yahoo.com> > > Done...BTW I'm now smokey II.
