That was Monday when all our guys used good judgement
and Drove home from mtns. Wayne is right, a little
hood time benefits us all, though a 180 is called for
many times...Reno.

Gang,
Do you think you could help save the Jackson County airport by putting
on a display of your formation skills? I've contacted Bill Austin to
get a date and time. Also if any of you know of a qualified acro pilot
with a low level waver, that would be helpful.
Please contact Bill Austin - wcaustinfmy@att.net for details.
The rest of you can help by showing up and supporting the airport on the
designated day.
Lets not let another airport disappear when we can all do some simple
things to help save it.
Bill Repucci

Subject: Fw: Aerobatic display
Gentlemen:
These guys at Jackson County (see below) are working on keeping that
airport open in the face of a legislative delegation effort to close it
and want to have a safe, interesting fly-in with at least one aerobatic
performance to advertise to the community. They,of course, want to put
the best foot forward to show that the airport benefits more than local
pilots. Any ideas for someone with a Pitts or Extra or the like who'd
do a show pro bono publico?
I will suggest Angel Flight table and PATH (pilot and teacher) handbooks
to give to kids at the open house.
I don't think I told all y'all I had left AOPA, but I did that and am
doing real estate development and aviation law (FAA Enforcement and FAA
Airport Compliance (grants for airports and their ramifications) here in
Charlotte. Please let me know if you have issues of that variety and I
will work to provide excellent professional assistance.
With my best,
Chris

Subject: Aerobatic display
To all user pilots and supporters of the Jackson County Airport "24A"
After a call last night, It appears that there may not be enough time
for an "Airshow" to be scheduled for the October Fly-in. Do you know any
pilots that could put on an aerobatics display? We will cover the fuel.
If yes, please put me in contact with them.
Thanks,
Bill Austin

Cappy's Toy is home safe and sound. She was a bit pissed that I left her
outside for so long but hopefully she will get over it.
Can you believe it, she told me the next time she might not start. Ain't
that just like a woman.
Thanks to Randy who flew me up this afternoon.
If anyone needs a lift to get there plan just let me know.
Cappy

Nifty's back home too. I'd also be happy to ferry Wayne, Stormy or Len to
GEV to get their planes...

Hi Steve,
Sorry I couldn't give you a lift today. I caught an early flight out of CLT to
Wenatchee via SEA. Flew the Skymaster up to Winthrop and just got in the hotel.
I'll be flying here for a few weeks. Pray for rain!
