I got your info from Van=99s website. I=99m building an RV-8A

ready to start the canopy and am looking for someone who has installed one
      on
an RV-8 who might be willing to help me get started. The rest of the
project has been pretty straight-forward up to now but the canopy appears t
      o be a
      bit specialized.
      Do you have any suggestions?

I just did the canopy thing on my RV8AQB. I did the glued version and can give
some insight into that. Contact me off line and I can give you my $0.02 worth.

Craig, how did gluing go? I glued mine on a few weeks
ago.. holding up pretty strong.. and I'm glad I didn't
have to drill that thing anywhere :) Kinda like the
      way it looks, too.

      Radomir,

Gluing the canopy worked well. It looks good and is very strong. The complications
arose when attaching the skirts to the canopy. That took a bit of head
scratching, but in the end it turned out well. Overall, I'm satisfied with
      the results.

I may head up there after we do some formation practice at Lancaster.
What time are you going? I got an empty back seat, too. Any takers?
