      Ben,

I thought it would be best to take them that way. You never know what
kind of freaks like you might be surfing the net. ;)

      Bill

PS. Do you still want to move your -6 to my hanger?

http://www.bsrproducts.com/, which is a local company. Give them a
call, 704-662-0901, tell them the size and length and they will have
them out to you shortly. Ask them to pressure test the lines for you,
that will save you a lot of time. The two longer lines you saw running
down my gear legs and one 14" section for the peddles cost something
like $57 +/-. (I reused one of the 12" lines on the other brake peddle
and replaced the ones I made.) No more leaks of any kind.

Under a wind advisory up here until noon, then looking at 70% chance
of snow/sleet tomorrow. Winter has come to the mountains. Miriam
just called in from the road and reported that the price of "avgas" at
the local filling station has dropped overnight to $2.09/gallon. Not
too bad compared to what it's been lately. After the 15 cent/gallon
state tax rebate for offroad use, that brings 93 octane in under two
bucks. I can fly on that :-) Just have to test a batch and be sure
no ethanol has begun to creep into the local supply.

Looks like I'll be ferrying gas this weekend and wishing I was in
Florida logging flight time. At least I have no worries about trying
to get home. Best wishes to all the travelers. Fly safe, gang.

      -Stormy

lines you saw running down my gear legs and one 14" section for the
peddles cost something like $57 +/-. (I reused one of the 12" lines on
the other brake peddle and replaced the ones I made.) No more leaks of
      any kind.

Here in Atlanta the "Avgas" price at the filling station is 1.99 and at
      Sam's Club it was 1.93.

Under a wind advisory up here until noon, then looking at 70% chance of
snow/sleet tomorrow. Winter has come to the mountains. Miriam just called
in from the road and reported that the price of "avgas" at the local filling
station has dropped overnight to $2.09/gallon. Not too bad compared to what
it's been lately. After the 15 cent/gallon state tax rebate for offroad
use, that brings 93 octane in under two bucks. I can fly on that :-) Just
have to test a batch and be sure no ethanol has begun to creep into the
      local supply.

Looks like I'll be ferrying gas this weekend and wishing I was in Florida
logging flight time. At least I have no worries about trying to get home.
Best wishes to all the travelers. Fly safe, gang.

      Bill,

I was there before you, did you get the check I left you for the first
      case?

Let me know the next time you are out there so we can hook up. BTW, I
like the trim you added to your -8.

      Bill

Good price, then. Up here, it's standard to see a 10-cent stagger
between grades, so regular at 1.93 means mid grade at 2.03 and super
      at 2.13.

High-compression pistons = no more regular mogas for me; not at all
sure the hp boost was worth that sacrifice, let me tell you.
