HI:
I am ready to apply sealing on my Cowling, getting ready for painting.
What is the best brand or name, to use.
What is the experience on these products? I see a few at A.C. Spruce and
others, but I do not know which to choose.. some are not
cheap at all..
I figure I will need a Gallon? to seal both sections, inside and out?
Our cowlings are Fiber Glass?? do not remember the description..
Suggestions appreciated..

Seal the inside with epoxy to make it less porous, then put the hi-temp
aluminum tape down near the exhaust.
Evercoat filler work ok on the outside, as well as others. I think Van's
suggests epoxy thinned with MEK.

In addition to the clinic in Parkersburg in May 11-13, this is another one
where a chance to learn will be afforded all (June 22-24).
Although it was long, it actually was a fun flight when Bill, Len, Ken and I
went to Texas for a clinic in November over a year ago.
Sooo .... There should be NO EXCUSE for those who wish to participate. :-)
