How about, "The plane is still in the basement and Tad won't let me fly
his." for an excuse?
Good to meet you on Saturday and some of the others.

In addition to the clinic in Parkersburg in May 11-13, this is another
one where a chance to learn will be afforded all (June 22-24).
Although it was long, it actually was a fun flight when Bill, Len, Ken
and I went to Texas for a clinic in November over a year ago.
Sooo .... There should be NO EXCUSE for those who wish to participate.

Team RVers et al,
The Texas Formation Clinic will be held at Brownwood (KBWD) on 22-24
Jun. Classroom Friday afternoon, fly all day Saturday, large
formation Sunday morning. Airport will provide hangar space, a 15
passenger van, and discounted fule. Their BBQ chef will do a Texas
BBQ Sat at the airport. Block of 40 rooms under "Formation Clinic"
at Days Inn, 877-500-2600, $54/night plus C of C will provide a $30
discount coupon off the bill. Wide open airspace, 150'wide runway,
large ramp space. Should be a great clinic location. Kahuna will be
in attendance. No charge for clinic, just minimal amount for
expenses.
I will publish on RV-List and Vansairforce soon. Kahuna, your site
will not allow me to create a table in Database for sign ups. Please
do so with Last Name, First Name, Call Sign, Type Plane, Tail #,
Contact #, Experience/FFI #, Home Base, Comments.

Hi All,
Shelby FBO is hosting IAC chapter 19 on Saturday at 10:00 for an aerobatic
practice session (with real-time ground-based critique and sarcasm) and a
hamburger/hotdog on the grill lunch. There are details on the IAC19 website,
which I think is www.IAC19.org <http://www.iac19.org/>
I think it will be a fun time, hope to see some of you there. I actually may
not be flying my own plane, because I lost my canopy a couple of weeks ago,
but will likely be there either way. Also, Steve Griff plans to be there to
demonstrate his new Reno racer with hand controls, and Bill VanAntwerp is
bringing his helicopter. I am also hoping to get a formation fly-by by
Palmetto Flight if possible. Email me on this list with any questions.

Not sure - it's more epoxy on top of an epoxy cowl. Not sure why sanding
difficulty would increase. Assuming you remove blush between applications
with water and scotchbright. Is that what you mean? Maybe some one else
can confirm.

I have been vectored right over the airport @ 3500 feet with a slight turn to miss
the skyscrapers. This was returning from Spartanburg back to Greensboro. Also
have been vectored slightly north and over southern part of Lake Norman. Charlotte
has been very easy to work with, IFR or VFR. Of course you will not be
going over the airport IFR tho.
Have a good flight,
David

I typically fly underneath the wedding cake and monitor CLT or Concord. And
I smile when they call me out to other traffic and guess, based on the
