Just what I'm working on today. There are 5 motels in Cody, WY and some
are already full for the 9-12. I will be calling today to preliminary
reserve 8 rooms. I will tell them individuals will call and confirm
within 2 weeks. Plan to rent cars and stay in Cody, which is 54 miles
from the park.

Dates again, Cappy?
Miriam has a surprisingly high degree of interest in this trip. Might

OK Cappy is holding 8 rooms at the Days Inn in Cody, WY for 2 weeks (June 9
thru June 12, till 4/28) in the name of SERV Group. This should give
everyone time to decide if they are in or out. There are 4 rooms with King
beds for Guys and Dills and 4 with two Queen Beds for Guys and Guys. All
are $125.10 per night. I'm sure room adjustments can be made as long as we
do it within 2 weeks.
There are only 5 motels in Cody and 3 of them are already booked. Go to the
following and put is some dummy dates and you will see all the information
about the Days Inn.
http://www.daysinn.com/DaysInn/control/Booking/modify_dates?brandCode=DI,MQ,HJ,KG,RA,SE,TL,BU&searchWithinMiles=25&areaType=1&destination=Cody&stateName=Wyoming&state=WY&countryName=United%20States&country=US&checkInDate=04/12&numberAdults=1&numberRooms=1&checkOutDate=04/13&numberChildren=0&rateName=Best%20Avail&rate=000&id=01768&propBrandId=DI&force_nostay=false
The plan is to leave on June 8 and spend the night near Sioux Falls, ID.
Those reservations will be easy to get later so for now you have two weeks
to get in or get out. In the mean time I will make reservations for 4 cars
in Cody, WY and start all the final flight planning based on good fuel
prices, multiple runways, ETC.
This is truly a great trip so lets all try to make it.
Cappy

Subject: | Priming & sealing Cowling |
Hi:
Still waiting to hear from the list, as to the best way to seal, and prime
Cowling, to be ready for paint.
Recently I hear one can buy some product at Waltmart, that works
well for Fibe Glass Cowling... I could not find any thing like that..
What have the list, used to seal the cowling, and what kind or primer.
Am I correct in saying, that one must First Seal , then add primer?
Or by adding special kind of primer, would do both?
I know that Van's said use Epoxy mix with Acetone, 50/50
If one do that, then, what, just paint? no primer?
If not then I am sure it has to be sanded, before anything will
adhere there..
And sanding, that mixture, is no an easy job, I have seen it.....
I really need clarification, with specifics... names brands etc..
Would be appreciate, your comments.

So can I assume you are going to do the finish painting yourself too?
Perhaps contact the supplier of the paint you plan to use -- they surely
have recommendations on filler and primer to use with their top coats.
