MessageDevils Tower is a big rock and lots of coordinates are given for
it. Mine came from Wikipedia and Mt Rushmore matches yours.
My suspicion is because of its size there are many different
coordinates. See below.
USA, Wyoming, Devil's tower INDEX UNITS TO GPS
Mainly trad crack climbing on hard volcanic rock columns. The tower is
an incredible sight.
Visitor Center Long Term Parking, park there for all climbs, N 44o 35'
30.8'' - W 104o 42' 52.7'' CUS072 . The altitude is about 4800 feet .
a.. Devil's Tower's North Face, New Wave route 10a, N 44o 35' 30.8'' -
W 104o 42' 52.7'' CUS073 .
b.. Devil's Tower West Face, One Way Sunset 10b, N 44o 35' 27.7'' - W
104o 42' 54.9'' CUS074 .
c.. Devil's Tower East Face, El Cracko Diablo 5.8 (hard 5.8!), N 44o

From Google Earth:
Mt. Rushmore: 43=B052'44.21"N 103=B027'35.37"W Elev 5,504 ft
Devis Tower: 44=B035'19.90"N 104=B041'57.34"W
Sounds like you are going to have a great trip.
With luck we might be ready. Today I finished installing the FAB. We
are getting closer to moving it to the airport.

I don't know what map you are looking at? It may be 133 miles to the
center of the park.
But I'm told by several sources including the NPS that Cody is 52
miles from the East entrance to the park.
You are correct about the mountains. But if you look at the route I
planned, we can safely make
it without going above 7,500. Check WAC CF-17.
The best alternate is the last one you flew over. With legs of 2:06
and 1:48 we can always go back were we
took off last.
See Revision 1 to the Flight Plan. Thanks Rad. Maybe you should
bring him with you Reno.
He needs to see America. God I hope I got the coordinates for Mt.
Rushmore and Devils Tower right.
Does this mean Reno is IN? I hope so!
When are you going to be at Sun N Fun. Randy and I will be there
Friday and Saturday.
Lets all get together.
