Even if you have previously told me you were IN, if your name is not on this list, please let me know you are IN again. Check out www.racetoridgeland.com for details. We've changed the handicapping scheme slightly to (hopefully) preclude any statistical bias and to better base the handicap on sound aerodynamic principles only. At least that's the plan; like I've said a couple of times---this ain't Reno!! Please come and join us if you aren't otherwise engaged and invite all your flying friends to come along too. We'll have a hotdog/hamburger stand, but you're welcome to picnic if you like. There will be "facilities" available and lots of hangars to visit to get a little "shade time" if necessary. Bring the family---lots of kids had a lot of fun last year. Trophies through 5th place for the race and through third place for the Spot Landing and Biplane Beauty contests. See you there! We were there last year but due to a major clinic that we NEED to attend, we cannot make it this time. If for some reason a storm rains out the clinic (I doubt it), you can bet we will be there, trying to get one of those WONDERFUL trophies (I **assume** they will do that again. :-) ) Seriously, I do encourage the attendance to this as I think it is a great idea for a fly-in. Another good friends, good food, good flying event.
