Just a short announcement of our Chapter ongoing efforts to give you
something to do with your airplane. We are having a Poker Run this
Saturday July 14th. The route and rules are listed below. Anyone can
play as many hand as you want at $5.00 a hand. All funds will be
returned in the form of cash prizes.

Our Next Flight Activity is our annual Poker Run. This year we change the
route from a previous circle slightly. Our airports are Stanly County,
Ashboro, Lexington, Twin Lakes, and Rowan for a final dstination. These
can be flown in any order on Friday evening after 6:00 PM or Saturday AM
on July 14th. Plan an 11:00 AM arrival of the 90 mile circle route to be
back at Rowan County for prizes and lunch.
EAA Chapter 1083 Summer 2007 Poker Run Rules Saturday July 14, 2007
1. Cards will be distributed at the following Airports, Albemarle/Stanley
County/ (VUJ), Ashboro Municiple(HBI), Lexington Davidson County (EXX),
Mocksville/ Twin Lakes (8A7), and the Salisbury NC, Rowan County Airport
(RUQ) Total Distance is 90.5 nm.
2. Cards will be at the FBO at all the airports, except at Rowan County
(RUQ) were they will be at the Chapter 1083 Area.
3. The envelopes should not be opened until arriving at Rowan County
after receiving your fifth and final card and you present them for
recording.
4. Each hand will be five cards and will include one envelope from each
airport.
5. The route can be flown any time on Friday Evening after 6:00 PM or on
Saturday Morning, and airports can be visited in any order. Please plan
your arrival at Rowan (RUQ) before 12:00 Noon. The Prizes will be awarded
at 12:30.
6. Hands that are turned in at Rowan County Airport will cost $5.00 each
and multiple hands are allowed. All collected money for this event will
be distributed in prizes. 70% for highest total, 20% for second place and
10% for the lowest hand total. In case of tie the award pot for that
position will be split.
7. Anyone can participate, either in person as pilot or passenger, or by
proxy. A list and e-mail addresses of Proxy Pilots will be listed on the
chapter web site www.eaa1083.com . (Please contact and arrange for pickup
of cards by the proxy pilots by July 12.)
8. Our Chapters Share-a Ride program will be in effect. If you would like
a ride or have a seat to share please contact us by e-mail. (link also on
chapter web site)
9. There will be three awards one each for the Winning hand, the 2nd
place hand, and lowest hand.
10. The route can be flown or driven.

Radomir,
I have 15 pin D-sub female in solder cup and in IDC (flat ribbon wire
you just crimp to the connector - my personal favorite), but not in
crimp pin. I have 9 pin D-sub in crimp pin, but that doesn't help you.
