      It's hard to buy a "bad" camcorder these day. Stick to the major players
      from the major stores and you'll be fine.

      One thing to make sure of is whether it can take video **INPUT** from
      another camera (like a bullet cam) if you wish to do that later.

      Some are models are not capable.

      I recommend any camcorder with a hard drive. Changing miniDV's and dvd's i
      s a pain in the butt not to mention dvd's take a long time to finalise. I
      have a Sony with a 30 GB hard drive and it can hold 20 hours worth of reco

      OK Bert, you have shown me the light. I posted a new video with more class;
      musical background from Beethoven's 1st symphony!! Let's work together to
      get YouTube out of the gutter. (Bert, this is not a dig, just meant in good
      fun - happy landings on your trip) I shot this with JVC GZ-MG255U, clipped
      to closed cell block with a little Velcro on top of the glare shield.

      I think most non-RV owners would refer to RV performance as "obscene", so
      maybe that's what was meant... I have to admit a slight stirring while
      watching the video, I think I'll drive over to Ben's and see if I can find
      my wife... I'm sure I'll find somebody's wife.
