I've had a builders insurance policy with Avemco for 3 years and just found out they won't insure the first flight of my RV-7A. And while i'm on the subject, if you have good experiences with a particular insurance company after your RV is flying please let me know. I would like to find low premiums, but I also want a company that will step up to the plate in the event of an accident. Thanks, Greg _________________________________________________________________ Gear up for Halo 3 with free downloads and an exclusive offer. http://gethalo3gear.com?ocid=SeptemberWLHalo3_MSNHMTxt_1 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:06:57 AM PST US From: "Radomir Zaric" Subject: RE: RVSouthEast-List: Insurance for First Flight Falcon (through EAA) will do that. -----Original Message----- From: owner-rvsoutheast-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rvsoutheast-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Greg Vouga Sent: Tuesday, October 02, 2007 9:02 AM Subject: RVSouthEast-List: Insurance for First Flight Hi All, Does anyone know of a good insurance company that will insure first flights? I originally had insurance with AVEMCO which covered my first flight (back in 1997), however, the more hours I accumulated in the aircraft the higher my insurance rates went - just the opposite of what you would expect. I am now insured with AIG through SkySmith. I have a rotary powered RV-6A and my rates are less than $1100 year for $60K hull and usual liability limits Ed Ed Anderson Rv-6A N494BW Rotary Powered Matthews, NC eanderson@carolina.rr.com http://www.andersonee.com http://members.cox.net/rogersda/rotary/configs.htm#N494BW http://www.dmack.net/mazda/index.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg Vouga" Sent: Tuesday, October 02, 2007 9:02 AM Subject: RVSouthEast-List: Insurance for First Flight > > Hi All, > > Does anyone know of a good insurance company that will insure first > flights? In Other words, I did my first fligtht, with no ISNURANCE... I will never reccomend them to any one.. I have Falcon, Insurance, now, they give good service.. I only Have LIABILITY... i WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE HULL, (AS IS CALLED) BUT AT MY AGE, IS TOO EXPENSIVE....$2,000 PLUS A YEAR,, BUT I WILL SOME DAY, IF I CAN SAVE SOME MONEY..
