I do know an RV-7 owner in the area (Apex), and can probably talk him into giving you a ride. It rarely takes much in the way of any real arm twisting to get him to go flying. :) I also know of an RV-8 owner at JNX and another at TTA who would probably both be happy to give you a ride as well.
