You need to realize how much joy and pleasure Nifty will be bring to a new family. You are kind of like Santa and his elves making Christmas presents for some needy pilot and his family and his new RV extended family. I can truly say this from my own experience and two others that has purchas ed RV-6's at Louisa Airport where I'm based. also the last few weeks I have been helping another flying friend join our group. He has just purchased a nice RV-6 off Ebay. He is a retired USAir Captain, retired at 60 yrs old....started with USAir in 1967....(67 now) He now flies a beautiful cessna 180 and has for years......(he will soon be selling it too...so if you know anybody looking?) well, he sees the other 3 of us having RV grins around the airport and one day I ask him to give me a BFR. That starts the wheels turning......note....he did the BFR for free....and it's costing him, 68,600 to start off with, plus his trip to Denver to retrieve it. Luckily he flies non-rev on USAir, :-) and with a west to east tail wind too. anyway........he is overjoyed in his purchase and he hasn't even picked it up yet. So Larry, think of yourself like Santa........wipe that tear from you eye.. .....and keep pounding those rivets!!!!
