Not so fast Cappy! Was just checking on the forecasted winds for today.
What kind of restaurant is at Montgomery Cty airport? Are you going for

I sent this out yesterday and for some reason it sounds like it did not
      go through.

We hope to lift off out of Goose around 10+/-. 61GA is less than an
      hour away by RV.

      Bill

      ---
      Hi Bill,

Our EAA Chapter 172 meets this Saturday at 12:30p.m. and we'd love to
have you and the wife attend. The id is 61GA and it's on the sectional,
about ten miles southwest of Augusta. Augusta approach (126.8) will
direct you there if you need assistance....they like homebuilts!

We get there around 11:00a.m., bs and look at the airplanes that fly in
and under construction and say grace around 12:30 and eat. President
Sheila Connell (wife of RV8A Charlie) is the president and we have a
speaker after we eat and the meeting is usually over by 2:00p.m.

I live about 25 miles southwest of the Pea Patch which uses 121.7 CTAF.
The strip is in good condition and 2400 feet long. Just watch for a
tower on the north end...it's virtually in the traffic pattern. We
usually land from the south and take off from the north end,

      Regards,

      Pierre

at her teller command post at the bank, saying she saw just now that I
went to DG and spent $9.67 at 1:24 pm and just what was I up to? What
can I say - she's a cheap date. At least she won't know just what
trinkets I got her until the Day. But she already knows they didn't set
me back much (saving for that Titan EXP engine, ya know.)

Yeah, boy, Ed. When I buy that Titan engine kit, it's going to be cash

The trip was good and I like the Luscomb but it has a few problems. One
I have to lean forward to reach the throttle.

Oh well maybe I will build an RV-12 some day.

Not so fast Cappy! Was just checking on the forecasted winds for
      today.
What kind of restaurant is at Montgomery Cty airport? Are you going
      for
        breakfast?

How about one of them Legend Cubs, or similar. Plenty to choose from in
      that category.

There is a VERY nice T-Craft for sale in Statesville. Toe brakes and
all. It does have the C-65 so you will be hand propping it, which isn't
a big deal. Let me know if you are interested and I'll put you in touch
      with the owner.

Having owned one, they are nice planes and you can fly all day on 12
gallons. Of course you only go 95 MPH but they are simple and fun. 10
years ago my insurance was $600 / yr and my annuals were usually around
      $350.
