It is a "pad" on the printed circuit board not a "tab". You must use a screw and nut to make this connection. If you are using a remote switch you can connect the wire from the external master solenoid directly to SW1 instead of J10. Run a second wire from SW1 to the remote mounted switch which is connected to terminal #5 'Aircraft ground'. When the master switch is ON, this connects the ground side of the master relay to aircraft ground and pulls in the master relay. Since you are using a external master solenoid, did you remove (by pass) the internal circuit board mounted relay? The manual (page 7 and page 10 in my manual) says "If the external master solenoid is to be used, the square pads of the relay K1, located near the battery connector should be connected together using a short piece of at least #12 solid wire. These should be soldered with a high wattage soldering iron. Having both the relay and the solenoid in circuit would work fine, however, two elements is series is not wise from a reliability point of view."
