I would appreciate any data available for RV10.
Also, a few of us in Birmingham, AL are planning a west coast trip......Aug
30 thru Sept. 14. Probably go out via a northern route and down the west
coast and return via southern route. Want to hit the high spots, experience
the back country grass strips, Leadville, CO. Grand Canyon, etc, etc. Glad
to have anyone join the gaggle. I remember seeing past post when some of you
went west. Would appreciate any input regarding gas stops, food stops, fun
places, mountain flying, RON accomodations, etc, etc.
Thanks,
Doug Preston

Does anyone have any performance data for specific Density
Altitudes. I know it would be aircraft specific but it would be useful
as a WAG.
I have been using a KOCH chart.
Anyway I'm 180 HP with a cruise prop. But any data for other props
might be useful.

Hey Doug,
I just finished my 7A a few months ago and we live in NC (5W5). We've got
about 80hrs on her so far and been as far as Key West. I think she's about
ready for a real "cross country" now.
My wife and I were talking about taking this same/similar trip in our RV-7A
during the fall sometime. No real plans yet, but we've tossed around some
ideas about yellowstone, grand canyon, camping in Idaho, Mt. Rushmore, Ore
gon coast camping, etc. I'm not sure if our scedules will match up, but we
would be interested in possibly joining the gaggle for at least part of th
e trip. Do you have an email list or similar way to discuss the plans? If
so, my email is gvouga@gmail.com. I would appreciate joining the info loo
