Subject: | Fund Raiser List of Contributors - Please Make A Contribution |
Today!
Each year at the end of the List Fund Raiser, I post a message acknowledging everyone
that so generously made a Contribution to support the Lists. Its sort of
my way of publicly thanking everyone that took a minute to show their appreciation
for the Lists.
Won't you take a moment and assure that your name is on that List of Contributors
(LOC)? As a number of members have pointed out over the years, the List seems
at least - if not a whole lot more - valuable as a building/flying/recreating/entertainment
tool as your typical magazine subscription!
Please take minute and assure that your name is on this year's LOC! Show others
that you appreciate the Lists. Making a Contribution to support the Lists is
fast and easy using your Credit card or Paypal on the Secure Web Site:
http://www.matronics.com/contribution
or by dropping a personal check in the mail to:
Matt Dralle / Matronics
PO Box 347
Livermore CA 94551-0347
I would like to thank everyone that has so generously made a Contribution thus
far in this year's List Fund Raiser! Remember that its YOUR support that keeps
these Lists going and improving! Don't forget to include a little comment about
how the Lists have helped you!
Best regards,
Matt Dralle

The rvsoutheast-list is open to anyone with a pulse and thick skin.
I personally found the F-15 stuff interesting and the friendly banter
entertaining. (It was meant to be friendly, right?) Given the small volume
of email traffic on this list, the 'rules' for posting are pretty lax.
Vaguely aviation related is good enough for me. I don't want to hear about
get rich schemes, anti-wrinkle cream, etc. Everything else is fair game.

Larry,
How's your 7 coming?
Sadly, good sense has prevailed and I'm paying off the small amount of
debt I accrued paying for my wife to decorate our house before I send
a check to Van's. I had no idea plantation shutters were so expensive.
You'd think they were yellow tagged or something!

Frank,
Currently my plane is non-existent!
I haven't started it yet and I've been renting from ISO Aero on the
south ramp at ILM, but as I mentioned I'm not flying right now (not
insurance current right now...) I think I'm going to have to give in,
hire an instructor for an hour to get current and then at least go do
some touch and goes at Wallace or Southport. Who knows, with the
economy the way it is right now, there may be few enough flights that
I can to convince the tower at ILM to let me do some circuits and save
the gas.
My wife and I live in just over the bridge in Brunswick Forest and
I'll shamelessly ask to come take a peek at your planes if you're
willing! My brother lives very near Pilots Ridge and we're down that
way pretty regularly.

I'm a bit late sending this out, like three weeks late but the esteemed Mr.
BBurril called this afternoon to get the status of Nora's quick build kit.
She gave birth to Turner Reed Repucci on October 20th at 1:15 PM. Both Nora
and Turner are doing great. Only four years, 11 months, and one week until
he can start helping with the condition inspections on the -9.
There are some pictures here <http://www.repucci.com/bill/Turner.html> .

Hi;
I think, the bad news is I am going to need a new canopy, for my
rv6a, if so, is there any one out there that has one, for sale??
or perhaps is any one in central florida, that is experience on this
not easy job, to help on the installation of a new one.... I really
do not want to do that again...I might be able to save the plexiglass,
but then is the job of drilling everything out...
I cannot do this again, by myself.. I did it 4 year ago, that is
enough..
Any suggestions, I will pay what ever is fair, if some one, wants

Subject: RVSouthEast-List: New Canopy?
Sent: Nov 10, 2008 17:59
Hi;
I did it 4 year ago, that is
enough..
Any suggestions, I will pay what ever is fair, if some one, wants
the challenge...
Thanks,
Robertr

I assume you've already reserved an N-number? <grin>
Big congratulations! Coincidentally, my neighbor the NetJets pilot and
his wife had a beautiful little girl, Reagan Hill 3 weeks ago...

The funny part of all this is that four of us took two RV's down to SnF in
April. The two passengers were both building RV's at the time (one is now
flying).
My passenger's wife gave birth to a boy in June. The wife of the owner of
the RV-7A that went with us is expecting a boy before the end of the month
and his passenger's wife is expecting a baby a month after that.
I'm thinking when prom time rolls around for these four boys will be taking
the RV's to the beach. All the young girls had better watch of for them is
all I can say!

B,
Sorry about the misspelling of your name - I'm getting old, too.
I'm getting along with building a RV-8A (see _www.rv-8a.net_
(http://www.rv-8a.net) ). I'm in year five and should finish by 6.5 years. I'm fitting the
cowling and just ordered a new canopy from Todd Silver after breaking mine.
Very clumsy on my part - working late at night solo.
I've got a Pacer in the hangar, too, so a little flying every once in a
while - when the fuel price is down.
Which RV are you flying?

Stan,as I do not much about the F-15C and at my age I will probably
never have the chance to experience it.I guess your knowledge is
overwhelming to me.Maybe one us that are flying the RV will have
something positive to offer in your dream or building an RV.I now know
if I need any help in spelling, punctuation,or an F-15C your my man.Oh
by the way you copied my name wrong.Good luck with your dream or
project.
