Hi:
for those familiar with the altrak, unit.
question on grounding units, (programer and the Servo) can I ground
each, right on the floor rib? if not why not?
(JUst as one does with landing, taxi lights?

if I could do it again...

Any how I* finished, the basic installation today,- I decided to use bolt
s, and nuts..
of course wire safetyed..-- I learned long ago,- if you install somet
hing, if at all possible
make it removable...I learned that thru another builder friend....I wish I
had done
that from the beginning, the amount of work I could have saved... tha tis w
hy the
second projects are really as pleasure, too late for me..

NOw is the hard part, for me as I am the worst when it comes to electrical.

one question larry, Am I correct that only two wires will be all I need,, t
alking,
I will not have V.S, or coupled to the GPS..I dread to do the soldering on
those
samall pins....Can I ground the servo and programer, right next to them, wi
th wires
to the rib?

I'm not sure. I want to say I ran my ground in the old plane all the way
forward to the main ground block, but I think I've seen another plane that
used a local ground. Both worked fine. Not sure about the number of
wires. I can't download the wiring diagram for some reason. Not sure if
it's me or TT's site. Anyway, I'd let the TT be your guide:
