Despite tracker malfunctions that seemed to leave us suspended in mid-air
over the Florida keys and again on final into KMTV, we are home safe and
sound. I wonder if trackers don't give as much cause for concern when they
fail as they do reassurance when they work right. I'm going to troubleshoot
those loose connections today, after my oil change.

Subject: | Gold Hill Airpark (NC25) CTAF frequency change. |
Pilots,
Acting upon direction of the Board of Directors of the Gold Hill
Homeowners Association, the frequency of the CTAF and the runway
lighting for NC25 (Gold Hill Airpark, NC) will be changed to 122.975 as
of March 1st, 2009. As there is no ground based Unicom and therefore no
transmitter license required, the FAA official at the National Flight
Data Center in Washington, DC, agreed to make the change with no
paperwork or fees required. A NOTAM will be issued to reflect this
change.
Sincerely,
Ron Schreck for Bill Korff
Secretary
Gold Hill Airpark Homeowners Assn.
