If it is feeling light on the controls and tending to wander in all
axiis - CG is the first thing I would check.
I am not an experienced RV flyer or test pilot. But that's what a
rearward CG feels like.
Be careful not to load anything in the back until you sort out what's
going on. If it is CG, that could be more than exciting.

Sounds scary.- Unstable in which axis?- I'd start with a complete
check of the control system. Maybe there is some slop or play
somewhere.- Is each end of every pushrod secure?
