I thought maybe a problem with rigging if it was first flight after
      paint.

If it is feeling light on the controls and tending to wander in all
axiis - CG is the first thing I would check.

I am not an experienced RV flyer or test pilot. But that's what a
      rearward CG feels like.

Be careful not to load anything in the back until you sort out what's
going on. If it is CG, that could be more than exciting.

| Subject: | Race To Ridgeland |

Everyone is cordially invited to the fourth annual Race To Ridgeland to be
held Saturday after next, 2 May. This years "R2R" will feature two races,
the Palmetto 125, a Sport Aircraft Racing League points event which will
launch at 0800 and the "Race To Ridgeland" itself which launches at 0900.
Our popular Spot Landing contest will start at 1200 and we are adding a
balloon busting event a little later in the day. Food, beverages,
T-shirts, and caps will all be available with the proceeds going to a local
church youth group. It is an official Civil Air Patrol event as well and a
number of Cadets will attend and assist with the event. The R2R is
sponsored by the Jasper County Aeronautics Commission and is supported by
local police, fire, and EMS units.

Please join us for a great day. See www.racetoridgeland.com for more
      details.

P.S. Anyone who would like to do an RV formation demo will be more than
      welcome. Let me know!!

Regards and fun flying to all!

Need more info on the control inputs you required to maintain a level
attitude. Certainly taking the wheel pants off would be the first step if
that is all that changed since your last flight. Was the first flight after
coming out of the paint shop? If so I would check all the rigging along with
check the balance on all your control surfaces. The little stick on weights
could have been removed, fallen off, or not fully replaced if removed.
Reweighing your plane and doing a new weight and balance on your aircraft if
certainly a consideration also. As the mauledriver said, a aft CG will
certainly make her more twitchy on the controls. Increases your cruise speed
and tightens your turn radius but with that comes the risk of a quicker
departure with an ensuing flat spin that you probably can't recover from.

Thnaks for the info.- I was thinking of doing just that, if by removing p
      ants, do not
      reflect any change..
the questions is , how can things change suddenly, when for the past 40 or
      so hours,
everything has been well, and nothing has been touch, or changed... but, th
      ings
can change by itself I* guess.
