I didn't - and have a gap that sucks my shirt sleeve into it when I fly.
The overlap I allowed hides it visually, but the airflow knows it's there!

Thanks for all the input. I was hoping that the crease would make for a
better fit, but it doesn't sound like that is really the case. I'll press
on and probably leave out a couple rivets where the gaps are, as most others
have done.

The crease didn't help with the row of rivets that run across the top of
the frame (I left 2 or 3 'unconnected'), but it may help with the fit to
the holes on the sides of the frame.
