Anyone familiar with Darr Field in High point (NC03)?
      http://www.airnav.com/airport/NC03

It's in an ideal location for visiting relatives in High Point, but I
don't know whether they allow transient a/c. The length shouldn't be a
problem, as long as there are clear approaches.

Thanks for any insight you can offer.

      Charlie

Suggest you go into GSO, the rw at Darr isn't very good & there are no lights.
GSO is real close & EXX isn't far either.

      Hi Bill,

Thanks for the suggestions. I've always used EXX in the past, but it's
about a 40-45 minute drive for our family to pick us up. The tie down
prices are right, though. :-) I've avoided GSO (the closest) since I'm
no-transponder, & assumed that their tie down prices would get expensive
if I stay more than overnight.

What about INT? Do they have a transient-friendly FBO?

      Charlie
