I remember a discussion about paint shops earlier but could not find it.
Does anyone still have the contact numbers for the shop at Oak Island,
Brunswick Co. airport SUT?
Any comments about it, good or bad?

Can anyone comment on what a paint job on an RV10 might cost right now?
I'm in the middle of a DIY job on one in Durham NC and need some
mid-project inspiration.
I now wonder how the finish of fiberglass parts is handled in such a deal.
Thanks,
Bill Watson

Bill - you're saving yourself about a quarter-million dollars by painting it
yourself. Feeling more "inspired' now? Paint on, brother! ;-)
Bill Boyd -pulling numbers from my hat since 1994, when I unboxed the
empenage kit...-

I TOLD you not to paint it yourself. After I painted my Pietenpol I
promised myself I'd never paint another airplane.

But Jack, I'm loving the decision to paint myself....otherwise I'd be
up there at Smith Mountain helping you wire and insulate your hangar!
Just try to keep my spirits high between coats of freak'n primer.

My bad, meant to say, " helping you insulate your wire hanger"
Jack, now I know why you have a smoke system on the Piet.... to hide the
paint!
