Holy crap. That's like the entire SE US for a whole month. I guess the question is, how lost can _you_ get in 45 minutes of flight tim e (assuming you'll be able to tell when it's not working normally and when it is)? Can't wait to see what happens to all the automotive users with their TomToms trying to navigate in Florida next month... Looks like Pic-N-Pig is out for me next month if I have to find it by pilotage. I will be the first to admit that's not going to happen. Don't worry Stormy, it is configured like the preverbal upside down wedding cake. It looks like you MIGHT be OK if you stay low. Okay. I will not plan any potty trips between 7 and 10 pm just to be safe. After watching me play indoors with my first GPS, Miriam swears I can't ge t from the kitchen to the bathroom without GPS assistance. And sometimes... late at night... I don't have a WAAS signal and I miss. the. bowl. a. little. Please don't tell; she thinks it's my prostate or something. Radomir - no VOR in my plane. I know Bonanza's have them, but they're ancient airframes and have all those round holes in the panel anyway. :-') Ok, so you have glass. I'm happy for you. Really really miss Carthage. Last visit was with Miriam on the way back from Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale. It was windy and cold in October. -Stormy On Thu, Jan 20, 2011 at 1:22 PM, Bill Repucci <bill@repucci.com> wrote: > Don=92t worry Stormy, it is configured like the preverbal upside down wed ding > cake. If you look at the times for the disruptions, they are from 7:00 PM EST to 9:45 PM EST. Since Carthage doesn't have lights you probably won't be flying to the PiknPig at those times anyway. That's like the entire SE US for a whole month. I guess the question is, how lost can _you_ get in 45 minutes of flight time (assuming you'll be able to tell when it's not working normally and when it is)? Can't wait to see what happens to all the automotive users with their TomToms trying to navigate in Florida next month... Looks like Pic-N-Pig is out for me next month if I have to find it by pilotage. I will be the first to admit that's not going to happen.
