How quickly and easily the process can take place by one person. 2. How small the folded package Kolb suffers by not folding easily due to the wings not being supported during the fold process. Kitfox etc. is only doing half a fold really. Try to roll one into an enclosed trailer after it is folded. The accurate term is "compound " wing fold that folds in two axis. Or if the wings fold over each other as with the ARADO, the Kitfox type plane could be stored in a trailer. It can be done right because it has been done right several times in history. Too bad not enough manufacturers recognize the need in the market. Today, only the LIL-BREEZY that debuted at last year's SunFun has it all. I have a kolb mk3 with folding wings, and after 125 hrs the verdict is in- "forget about it". The kitfox style of folding is so superior I get choked up and have to leave when my friend folds his 'fox wings. A 'fox would make a fine floatplane.
