There's a really informative article about LSAs seaplanes in this month's EAA Sport
Pilot magazine (August 2006).  I was surprised that they were more well suited
to the task (in many cases) than the aircraft I've normally seen on floats.
It's a very good read.  If you haven't seen it yet, I can highly recommend
it.
