You're not doing anything to increase our confidence in the U.S. system 
of
licensing.   I've heard that north of the 49th a number of bush pilots 
don't
bother getting licensed at all.

I took my sport pilot  check ride today in a quicksilver and got my 
seaplane
rating also  I haven't even ben in a seaplane since june only in America

Yes they do not sometimes. I have alot  of  float flying   but still dont fly 
others  the way I got it  was legal with the sport  pilot grandfathering that 
runs out after the new year   we still have  a avid catalina  for sale
