He loves the combination and has fun stopping the airplane and backing up. For sure not a necessary feature for a floatplane, but it sure comes in handy in close docking situations. Here's a pic of Don's plane at my house this summer (he plans on painting it when he isn't so busy flying it and having fun...) Is a reversing propeller useful on a floatplane. We are building a Murphy Moose powered by the M14 radial engine and wonder if it is worthwhile investing in a reversing prop. Thanks Rino ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul Seehafer To: seaplane-list@matronics.com Sent: Monday, October 08, 2007 10:18 AM Subject: Re: Seaplane-List: oshkosh web site??? volintere Malcom, I think you might already know this, but you can check out www.oshkoshseaplanebase.com for info, photos, and a forum. That site was originally made for volunteers to use, as well as visiting seaplane pilots, etc. Bottom line; lots of good stuff for those of us that enjoy the seaplane base during AirVenture. Oh yeah, we also recently added a complete list of all the volunteers!
