Does anybody know where I can get reasonable liability insurance for my
modified buccaneer II. My airpark is requiring $500,000 liability coverage.
I
will have my Sport Pilot license this month.

aopa Falcoln avemco are just some of the insurance carriers. I flew
ultralight's for 15 years from an un friendly airport. your airpark may be
trying to push you around with requirements that other pilots may not have to
have. Someone at your airpark should have the info on every pilot based
there and not only who insures them but when there insurance expires, you might
want to ask someone to see this info and be sure to ask if they are insured
for libel, slander, defamation of character ,or if they violate someone civil
rights or discriminate against someone . Then re assure them you will comply
but you are very busy and getting your plane fully legal is your top
