Hello All,
I just purchased a Sonerai 1 (N100X) last week and have some questions
concerning the Sonerai 1:
1. The Great Plains website lists the empty weight as 440 lbs. My plane
shows a whopping empty weight as 550 lbs on the weight and balance form. Where
do you think the extra lbs were gained (has a GP 1835cc engine with possible
"X Casting" and alternator).
2. What is the Max gross operating weight of the aircraft? 750 lbs? (Sonerai
Plans ordered but not received).
3,. I am 6 feet tall and fit in the cockpit, but the canopy depresses my
head about an inch or more, and would therefore like to replace the present
canopy with a slightly larger/higher canopy. Any thoughts on a vendor for such.
Canopy design?
