Larry,
I'm not thrilled about my throttle setup so it's on the list to be
improved someday. Works fine for now and it's pretty solid but it could and
should be better. Saw your website but I'll have to call you sometime to
get some details. Back burner right now but thanks for the info.

I think the original manual is .016. Mykal consulted with Reiner and reported that
had been changed to .014 around 1999. The .010 or .011 is close to specs for
the engine in the stock auto. Not sure why Ram engines uses that. Don Walker

My Engine was purchased in 1997. So the manual is six years old. Don't think
I have seen any notification on any of these changes.

Don,
I got my heads back from RAM on Thursday evening, put everything together
Friday and Saturday and flew today. It felt great to be back in the air and
the workmanship on the heads is very nice. Engine ran like a champ.
I did ask Ron at RAM what to set the valves at and he told me to use what
Stratus recommends since the cam is the deciding factor. So I used the .014
for all valves like I've been doing since the change back in 99.
