After this just use the old style timing light????? > Hi Kelly Yes, that would work. Back in the old days, they had the pully engraved with the degree marks (every two degrees) for both negative and positive and I used to mark the advance degree I wanted with white paint and then with the engine running adjust the distributor until I would see the white paint line up with a built-in pointer in the block using my fixed timing light. Wow - those were the days of simpler cars and simple repairs. I don't see any marks on the pulley on my Stratus, so we would have to make our own marks. The trick is to find exactly where TDC is for cylinder 1 with no advance or retard. Then, you can mark the degree marks for both advanced timing and retarded timing using the protractor. Maybe someone has info on that? Dick
