$500 seems like a lot of money for replacing valve guides. Did Ron do
anything else for your heads? It seems that there is more to it than I can see
for
this much money.

Yeah, Dick, He is shaving the heads off to 3.5 inches, using larger, stainless
steel valves, porting the intake, modifying the length of the guides to suit the
cam, fitting to tolerance of .001, custom machining guides with shoulders,
and using new springs. Don Walker
