Ron turned mine around in about 7 or 10 days. Best thing I ever did! Is everyone making custom wood crates to send their heads off to RAM? From my experiences this crate better be pretty beefy as everything my local delivery guys get there hands on they manage to some how damage. Kelly advertising on the Matronics Forums.

--> Stratus-List message posted by: "Gary K" <flyink@efortress.com> I agree with putting a check for 100% in the box with the heads. I was in a hurry to get mine back and there was some last minute confusion about sending the second half of the payment in and waiting for the check to clear before returning the heads. Easier to just send it all in. I rolled my heads in cardboard and made slits for the bolts to go thru, then used extra shipping foam peanuts around that in a bigger box. It ended up plenty sturdy. With all the boxes and shipping foam that I get from airplane parts I could open up a shipping business. The new head gaskets do have a very small bead of what looks like a sealing compound on one side?? Bill Bill, what is the difference in his gaskets? Are the holes any different? Some are blocked on the stock gaskets. don

The heads are amazingly light (~ 10 pounds each)so it does not take an elaborate packing crate. Bill Also can anyone comment on what you used to send the heads in? Kelly
