Hi List!
I see things a little quiet lately.
This past week, the Stratus runup was very satisfactory so the engine was
removed, albiet with some "anxious moments", and the
heads were removed and shipped to Ram Performance.
He says he's done about 10 sets so far. My method of packaging the
heads was not so difficult and the total boxed weight was 29.0 lbs
A cardboard Pennsoil case with plywood in the bottom and top,
2x4s attached to the bottom with deck screws separating the gasketed heads.
A 9" bolt thru center hole in the heads and center 2 x 4 to secure it all.
Upholsterers foam all round the ends and a plywood top drilled for
exhaust studs to close the box down over. Duct taped round bottom and sides
and clear shipping tape on the top lid only. Ink marker address inside on the
top plywood
Have tried to get hold of Mykal to order another set of stronger upper mounts
but havn't heard anything back yet.

Stratus Flyers,
I now have 65 hours on my Stratus powered 601 HD. My engine seems to consume about
an ounce of 20W - 50 for every hour flown.
I'm just curious if everyone else is seeing the same?
