Was it around the two spreader bolts on top? Just curious about where to keep an eye out. But I don't remember a lot of the details. My reduction unit was off already since my housing had cracked and I replaced it. but it was more of a job than I expected to pull the shaft. I found that my front bearing was worn, so I just replaced them both at the recommendation of my engineer/machinist friend who helped me. Also removed the inner seals on the bearings, installed a grease fitting and put a hand full of grease in the cavity to avoid having to do it again in 300 hours. I know we had to knock pretty hard on the shaft and stuff to get all of it apart and back together. I did that at 235 hours. Now have 318. All is smooth and cool. Sorry I don't remember more. Thought I would weigh in since no one has responded.
