Neither indicates rpm. Everything else is fine. I used knife splices in the thought that testing a coil occasionally or replacing one would make the knife splice a good idea. But after removing the shrink wrap, I find the joint lacking a grip, even a little shakey. Found some bullet splices and some push on tab types, but not sure of the quality of these either. Better ideas or recommendations on this anyone. Butt splices are fine and so are the spade connectors but make sure you use AMP PIDG type and a good crimper. Don't bother to use the automotive style, they are junk. see aeroelectric.com and terminaltown.com (those addresses are guesses but I think they're right). terminal town has a good page on PIDG crimps and both places sell them and good crimpers. also alliedelec.com or digikey, newark, technit tools, etc. I used a ton of colored heat shrink too, bought a full kit. makes everything neater and better. They are very tight if done correctly. I've tried to take several apart after I made mistakes ... forget it, you need to cut them off. Kelly
