Im currently trying to do the timing on my EA-81 and am having some
problems. I have my gun set to 32 degrees and am revving to 4,000 but
I cannot pickup the mark on the pulley in the flash. When I adjust
the distributor I can hear the range where the engine runs nice so I
should be able to see the mark on the pulley somewhere in the flash
range but no luck. I tried extending the mark across the whole pulley
to make it easier to see. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Andy

Are you sure you have your timing light hooked to #1 cylinder?
Other than that try doing it just as the sun goes down.
