Subject: Seeping oil

Hi guys,
The small o-ring seen throught the lower redrive
sprocket center is seeping oil. Only enough to be
messy, requiring a wipe down after flying.
Has anyone thought of using a plug to contain the
oil to the end of each flight until the eventual replacement
can be made?
I invision using a screw-type stopper that can be compressed
to stave off the film of oil during flight, then wiping out the hole
on return.
Is this a dumb idea or not?
