Hello,
This saturday, November 19th there will be a meeting at the Harrington Airport
[3WA2 Hanes] at one PM in the main hanger for the purpose of forming a Chapter
of the Experimental Aircraft Association [EAA] here n Lincoln County Washington.
This is a meeting only to begin the process of forming the chapter. Some
of you folks I have invited are not directly involved in aviation in this area,
but our respective organizations to have overlapping capabilities, such as
the ARES / RACES / LINCARES group, and others.
If you cannot attend, or simply are not interested, please pass on this information
to others you might consider willing to take a look and contribute to this
effort. I thank you very much for your time and any reply or info you can
provide, and I hope sincerely to see you there. This is a community effort, the
benefit is to the community as a whole. EAA chapter activities can be very active
in the community, such as the Young Eagles program where youth are introduced
to aviation via the efforts of our volunteer membership. There can be annual
fly ins and airshows the chapter can put on, and will be of benefit to the
community as well.
