I believe you're talking about connection #5, which the manual refers to as "engine block temperature." Is that correct? But, since it's an aluminum block, water-cooled engine, the block temperature near the water jacket is going to be very nearly the same as the coolant temperature. I made one for the rad inlet and one for the outlet to measure temp drop. I used the same gauge and put a switch in.
